Great kit for beginners, best customer service June 18, 2014
Reviewer: Ahmed Ayoub from New Westminster, BC Canada
This is a great kit if you want to start a build from the ground up and learn all the important components that make up a quadcopter. After that the sky is the limit.
Dany was prompt in responding to questions and the delivery was way faster than expected.

3DR Quadcoppter kit January 29, 2014

This is an excellent kit for a compete novice (and for anyone who's not a novice) to the R/C quadcopter drone world like me. On Dany''s advice I upgraded to the 880 motors and 30A ESCs to allow for a camera payload. After a couple of weeks of careful but simple construction followed by a few weeks of progressive testing I have a quad that flies great. Highly recommended.

Nice Quad Kit August 6, 2013

The frame is globally solid and offers plenty of space for electronics.  The power distribution board is pre-soldered which is good.  Legs are the frame's weakest point; they crack quite easily.  I also suggest that you add a piezo buzzer to the APM (flight controller) as the LEDs are hard to see in bright sun.  This provides enhanced security as you get an audible feedback when the motors are armed/disarmed and when the battery voltage is low.
