my first quad kit .... November 4, 2014
Reviewer: billp from Toronto, ON Canada
this kit is my first build for a quad.
its a heavy frame, but its also rugged.  and i do like the arms that are simple aluminum square tubing.  its outfitted with the vector fc,  some hobbyking 750kv motors and apc multirotor props 10x5.5..... 30A escs from rotorgeeks....
flys very well for my 1st kit quad.
will tune the fc next flying season though, since i finished rather late in the flying season 2014.
i feel its a good introduction into quad kit building.  its inexpensive, and its simple to build and equip.  but it is, as stated before, abit on the porky side...
the only gripe i have is that the power distribution board is badly soldered;  i redid the solder connections to ensure they are solid.  other than that,  it is a well equipped kit.  good for a 1st quad build...

ArduCopter 3DR-D Quad Frame Only October 28, 2014
Reviewer: Darrell Carew from amherst, NS Canada
The order came as rapidly as promised by Dany but mis-listed by Canada Post (as if that never happens) by stated on their Canada Post webpage that I would get it much later than I actually did - go figure.

The kit was received all in great condition but in my opinion, 3DR needs to find something other than leaving the Power Distribution Board unsecured inside the unit. 'Just a Thought'

Great kit just the same. Lots more room to mount 'stuff' on.

Can't wait to fly it.
