Works well, but range not as far as expected October 9, 2014

Both the transmitter and receiver are well build. Solid. Cooling fan in the transmitter which is nice. Easy to wire into the Phantom 2 - but would be easier with the board provided by DJI that connects the tx, IOSD, and the phantom video outputs. Some soldering required. Range is OK, and useful, but noticeable breakup when the copter is 200m away, and when its 50m straight up. Have tried various antenna locations. Still, recommended.
