Build a 2014 Quad with this do-it-yourself kit with motors! The 2014 upgrade to our popular Quad features gimbal-compatible plates and larger surface area for mounting peripheral components.

This kit includes the parts to assemble one Quad frame without any Flight controller system, including motors, propellers, electronic speed controllers (ESCs), power module and GPS mast.

3DR ArduCopter Quad-C Frame+ Motors kit contains the following:
  • 2 Fiberglass Main frame boards + PDB cap
  • 4 Aluminum arms, 2 black arms and 2 blue arms
  • 2 Fiberglass Carrier boards
  • Fiberglass Landing gear
  • Power distribution board, power cables and signal cables for PDB-APM
  • All hardware needed to assemble the components above
  • 4 Motors 850Kv (you can upgrade to 880kv)
  • 4 20A ESCs (you can upgrade to 30A)
  • 4 Propellers 10X45
You need an auto pilot to fly it, we recommend:
  • Pixhawk
  • APM 2.6+

Then you just need to supply your battery and TX/RX.

This is a very nice kit. Pretty well designed, stiff and good looking. Had already an Ardupilot in stock, so flying with that (instead of Pixhawk) and it flies pretty good.
